Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will be a high-energy Sales professional who excels at finding and recognizing opportunities and converting them into long-term and happy customers. We’re looking for someone who is hungry to win new business in a competitive landscape, and also communicates and consults effectively with prospects using extensive product knowledge to recommend products and services that maximize client value. This Account Executive will be our driver of growth with B2B media agencies and B2B technology and software companies in the Western territory, our largest strategic territory with the highest potential for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by employing a proven prospecting, nurturing, and sales process
  • Successfully generate business from new accounts and cross/upsell into existing customers
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives while understanding their needs and priorities
  • Build rapport and educate prospects so that they fully recognize value of our services
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction levels exceed industry standards
  • Follow-up all qualified prospects, leads, and opportunities several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
  • Generate your own leads by utilizing a prospecting and networking process
  • Accurately input and maintain CRM data and other tracking tools to report on sales forecasts
  • Assist in developing Sales and Product strategies
  • Travel to industry relevant trade shows/events for lead generation and prospecting purposes

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5-7 years of quota carrying sales experience with a demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to run an effective sales presentation and understand customer needs
  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Experience and working knowledge of sales and marketing in the B2B tech industry.
  • Experience accurately forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual sales projections
  • Drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • Ability to stay organized and time manage while overseeing multiple accounts and looking for new opportunities
